On this page you can change the very basic settings of the program.
Language
Here you can select the program's langauges from the drop-down list. If you want to edit the current translation or want to make a new one, you can do this by pressing the “Edit…” button. This will open up the Translation editor.
Application font override
Here you can specify which font Spider Player should use for all its visual controls. This can be useful, for example, if some Unicode characters do not display correctly with the default font (Tahoma).
Minimize to tray
If checked, the player is minimized to tray instead of taskbar.
Show “Now playing” ballon
If checked, the player will show a balloon hint with “Now playing” information every time a new song starts.
Display tooltips
The player will display useful hints for some controls and buttons if this option is checked.
Always on top
Check this to bring Spider Player on top of other windows.
Check for updates at startup
If checked, Spider Player will check at startup if new version is available.
Allow multiple instances
Check this to be able to run several instances of Spider Player (to record more than one radio station at the same time, for example).
Ask for action on CD insertion
If checked, Spider Player will ask you what to do (rip, play, do nothing) every time you insert a CD into your optical drive.
