After all the the players I've used, and I've used a lot, mainly Winamp and WMP, I have ditched all others for Spider Player. This doesn't have all the garbage that other players have and is EXACTLY why I love it. It simply works and works WELL. Awesome and easy interface, if there was a player made specifically for me, this would be it. I can't say enough about it except GREAT JOB to the developers!!

In this age of bloatware, Spider Player has been a fresh breath of air for me.
Not to mension the support... A developer who actually listens to the users and fixes the bugs as soon as they're reported... It's unheard of! :)

I have been trying out different players of late looking for a WMP/Winamp alternative. I need something "resource friendly" so I d/l Spider Player. It has a light footprint, cute interface with a number of skins and, more importantly, access to Shoutcast/Icecast so I have hundreds of stations to choose from since I primarily listen to radio. I can listen to my own tunes as well!! Lots of fun!!!!

What I really love of Spider Player is that it is constantly adding new features version after version keeping always the main objectives: simplicity, lightness and great sound!

I discovered Spider Player late last year. I'm a pretty demanding Classical music listener and no audio player comes close. Now that I have a new set of Logitech Headphones the sound combination is better than any sound system save going to a concert/opera itself!
Thank you for a player that can get clarity out of a 1930s performance and capture the subtleties of my love of music...And at no adjustment Equalizer!
A VERY impressed user.

The Spider Audio Player is a wonderful success!
I especially enjoy the ability to change the skin colors and look forward to making my own skins.
The ripping feature is definitely a plus, and I've ripped MP3's, WMA & WAV files with no problems.
It's simple and uncluttered, unlike the vast majority of audio/media players out there.

I saw the Spider Player program numerous times, but never bothered to download the file; it looked like a plain vanilla player; was I wrong! Spider Player is a very nice multi-media player, and I do mean small. It's installed size is only 4.09MB under XP Pro. RAM and CPU load is very small; it's like a slimed down Winamp! It's simplistic to use and the functions are as basic as point and click; there is heavy use of right-click functions, but I was conformable with the functions within 20 minutes of install. I listen to a lot of streaming Internet radio (.m3u and .pls streams) both Winamp and WMPlayer have trouble playing these streams; I'm using Spider Player as my default stream player; so far, so good, no problems. Give this little player a try, you'll like it!
